Give tenants a written Notice of Lessee's Right and Opportunity to Purchase for the District of Columbia.
USE TO:
- inform tenants that you intend to sell the rented premises and they have the right and opportunity to purchase their rental unit
- notify tenants that they have to respond to this notice within a specified time limit and that the offer will be considered rejected if they fail to reply
- comply with District of Columbia law by providing the notice within the required time limits and in the proper manner
- protect yourself if tenants refuse to vacate the premises (in which case this notice is vital to successfully completing an action for eviction)
