Serve tenants with a written Notice to Correct Violation or Vacate for the District of Columbia.
USE TO:
- inform tenants that they have violated a material term(s) or condition(s) of the lease other than rental payment
- notify tenants that they must rectify the violation(s) or the lease will be terminated
- protect yourself if tenants refuse to correct the violation and/or vacate the premises (in which case this notice is vital to successfully completing an action for eviction)
